about the conference

The Conference will go so fast you won’t want to miss a minute! Clear your calendar and join us for a day of inspiration. Take your life to the next level on Health and Wealth, Home and Work.

BONUS: Receive a FREE BOOK, "Money Doesn't Grow On Trees", by Ellie Kay with your paid registration! Teaching the next generation about budgeting, saving, giving, and investing is what the real world is all about. They won't graduate from high school and start making $80,000 a year as a vice president with an expense account; they'll have to earn both over many years. This book will help you give them life skills that will give them a real advantage in real life. (Note: You will pickup your book at the event. The book will not be mailed.)

Below you will find a snapshot of the Conference Day as well as details about the four workshop choices. We hope you'll join us!

1.SMART WOMEN SHOP WELL with Ellie Kay

Whether you're shopping online, in the grocery store or at the mall, there's a smart way to spend your money. This workshop will help you make every shopping minute count. Ellie gives a step-by-step plan to save up to 50% by shopping online. She will give seven steps to layer the savings at the grocery store and show you how she saves $8,000 a year on groceries by investing just 1.5 hours a week in preparation time. Finally this workshop will give you a step-by-step strategy to navigate Black Friday--the day after Thanksgiving in order to get the majority of your Christmas shopping done by 9:00 AM that day and save 40% in the process. If time allows, there will be a Q&A where other class members can also share their best savings tips.

2. SMART WOMEN SAVE TIME with Marcia Ramsland

Today's Smart Woman knows that how she spends her time is the difference between feeling tired and drained, or energized and on top of things. Working harder isn't the answer to getting things done -- discovering new ideas is. In this workshop learn time-saving tips to maximize your calendar, easy routines to balance home and outside work, steps to deal with paper piles and live clutter-free, tips to organize your children, and how to do the famous 30-Day Time Makeover. Time is life; learn to use it smartly!

3. SMART WOMEN DON'T DIET with Danna Demetre

Most women know how to lose weight, they just don't know how to permanently keep it off. In this eye-opening workshop, Danna will dispell the myths about weight loss and  teach you how to discover your best body without ever going on a diet. Learn how to burn fat to the max, overcome emotional eating and change your habits once and for all. Danna's journey from bondage to food into lifestyle freedom has encouraged thousands to become healthier and leaner... for life!

4. SMART WOMEN POWER TALK with Dr. Gail Hayes

Did you know that smart women know how to use their personal influence to create positive change? Your influence is as intangible as the wind, but is also just as powerful.  It can gently transform a bad situation to good or make a positive interaction a complete disaster.  Because you are influential, people can “feel” who you are before you open your mouth to speak. Your communication skills, networking style, and all the other factors that make up the person called "you", determine your success at whatever you decide to do and wherever you decide to go. In this session, we will discuss personal power and its impact, how to communicate a negative message using positive words, and how to handle confrontation using your own unique style.
